Mastermind

1. The Goal

Your mission is to guess the secret color code. The code is made up of 4 colors, and colors can be repeated.

2. How to Play

1. Look at the colored circles at the bottom. These are your color choices.
2. Click on a color to select it. It will appear in the first empty spot in the current row.
3. Fill all 4 spots in the row with your color guesses.
4. If you want to change a color, simply click on the peg to remove it and select a new color.
5. You can click on any peg in the current row to place a color there.
6. If you want to start over, click the "Clear Row" button to remove all colors from the current row.
7. When you're ready, click the "Submit Guess" button.
8. The game will give you feedback (explained below).
9. Use the feedback to make a better guess in the next row.
10. Keep guessing until you crack the code or run out of tries!

3. Understanding Feedback

After each guess, you'll see small pegs next to your guess:

• A blue peg means you got a color in the exactly right spot.
• A white peg means you guessed a correct color, but it's in the wrong spot.
• The order of these feedback pegs doesn't match the order of your guess.

4. Tips for Success

• Start with a guess using different colors to see what's in the code.
• Pay attention to both the colors and their positions.
• If you get a blue peg, that color is definitely in that spot in the code.
• Remember, colors can be repeated in the code!

5. Winning the Game

You win when all four of your guessed colors match the secret code exactly. You'll see four blue pegs, and a victory message!
